A new hat.

Toby was desperately short on clothes (like he had 5 outfits that fit him!) so I had to pick up some new ones. and while we were out I got Hannah a new hat.

I took the kids out into the yard when we got home to take some shots.

As usual, Hannah was not all that co-operative. lol!





You would think the baby would be the one who didn't understand "look at the camera and smile" *sigh*

She was upset because mum wanted her to sit on the top step, not on the same step as I was trying to take the photo from. lol!

Sewing again!

It has taken a while, bit I FINALLY have had the chance to do some sewing! I have been itching to get into my sewing room, but with everything else on, I have just not had the time. Hannah is rather short on clothes that fit, though, so it was either sew, or find money that we don't have to buy some.

This top was actually just a test run of a pattern.


You can see my slackness - black stitching, because I could not be bothered changing the thread... rolled edges, because it was too much work to set up the sewing machine... lol

So slack. But finally! A post!

We have been flat out getting the old house ready, painting, re-flooring, cleaning up gardens... so that has been taking over all our free time. Hannah has been enjoying it, and actually manages not to be too much of a hindrance!

We have 3 rooms still needing a second coat, and the bathroom still needs both walls and ceiling painted.

We have had some really good news, though! There is a housing co-op that owns the place next door, and they are looking for more houses in the area! If we can strike a deal with them, it would be fantastic news for us, and hopefully lead to a nice, quick sale!

Anyway, photos. These were actually taken last weekend, but it has taken me this long to get them off the camera. *blush* Not very exciting, just some snaps.

Been a while!

Sorry to all my loyal fans. We were 3 weeks without internet! But I am happy to report that we are happy and settled in our new house (and about 90% unpacked!) although still somewhat busy preparing the old house for sale.

Just one photo today, of my dear boy. Toby is the most delightful baby! He spends most of his time asleep, and when he is awake he is so sweet and charming. I have really lucked out with both my kids. *wub*

He is now over 5 months old! I can not believe how quickly that has gone! He is starting to use rolling to move around, which is making things a little interesting (then there are the times that his sister uses rolling to move him... *sigh* thank goodness second children are made so hardy! lol!)
